hi i took the side off my millie,sprayed it up as it looked tatty!! put it back on ,the problem is now the side stand when down holding the bike up indicates the side stand is up!!! when up its indicating its down hence the engine cuts out when put into first!! what is wrong i have made sure peg is in the hole ??? cheers
sounds like you need to remove the sensor and make sure the prong is correctly located in the drilled hole.

cheers guys ill give it ago !!! feel like i have done this already should there be anything else on the the peg that a may have mis placed ????? if i take the sensor off is it just the peg that spins thats supposed to be there ??? cheers!!

yeah mate the peg might be in the wrong position. Some of them were metal and some plastic so be carefull not to bend it. I ended up bypassing my sidestand switch on my last RSV but that was me just being tight lol.
Thats what i have just done for time being mate as i have day off work and the sun is blazing where i am !!!
