Just need some confirmation on the hole sizes on bottom and top yokes for both Showa and Ohlins forks please.
Tried google but three different sizes so far....
Be for non-radial ones, not sure if they ever changed?

Ohlins smaller in diameter than Showa.

So if changing from Showa to Ohlins you need both top and bottom yokes or vice versa.

Thanks for that people.
Wanted to double check as some sites were saying the same size for both makes on the bottom yoke (meaning i'd only have to get a top yoke) :(

New question!
Can an Ohlins top yoke from a Gen 2 be used in place of a Gen 1 top yoke? I prefer the Gen 2 ones

98-03 showa, top 53mm- bottom 53mm
98-03 ohlins, top 51mm- bottom 56mm

GS

Just an update on this for any potential searches, Showa radials as fitted to 05 are 51mm top, 53mm lower just to be awkward

No chap its not a straight swap, the offset is different - as are the ignition barrel lengths and sizes - you'll need to match the top and bottom yokes (i.e. gen 1 together and gen2 together). And yes Gen2 radial fitment showas are 51mm at the top
