NEW LID

I've just bought the agv stealth dragon, as the stig lid is getting a little loose and my neck muscles cant take the force of the wind for much longer.

FM is one I bought for fun years ago.

Suomy Gunwind is one I wear quite alot. Great helmet, fit and quality is excellent and you could add one to try out. They have some great paint schemes too.

Quantum F is great fit, amazing quality, and you really don't feel like you are wearing it half the time. Superceded though in the Arai range these days.

And this is my newest addition. AGV Ti Tech. So far so good, and the prices out there at the moment are really good. You really need to try one on though as the sizing can be a bit funny, and they just don't fit some shapes of head! Fantastic bit of kit mind :biggrin

“Fantastic“ beamed Mark of BSD’s first TT experience. “Eight weeks ago we just had a cardboard box with a stock bike in it. Now we’ve got a 122mph lap and an eighth place in the TT- on a bike that cost about the same as the forks on some of the top bikes. And we didn’t really get enough practice. And it’s still in one bit.”

“Aye - it’ll probably fall over in t’van“, added Ronnie, helpfully

OGK FF4 for me, cost £99 e-bay shop as they were old colours, as Sharky said should have been £300. Colour schemes a bit naff but the quality is excellent and very stable at high speeds and great visability, much better than my old Shoei...

i have always had shoei this is the arai i've had (leon haslem rep) i think the arai's a bit noisier than the shoei but feels lighter, i would like to try the shoei xr1000

I have been happy with all my lids but I am a bit num don’t know if its from a misspent youth, rugby, stella or am I just a Yorkshire man?
deep pockets, short arms, tight arse

This Dainese is on its way to me now

I am a shoei man really though. XR1000 is a cracking lid mine is in criville colous.

I wore Arai lids for years, then when mine needed replacing I didnt like any of the paint scheme's they had, so the manager of Hein Gericke recommended I try an X-Lite. Bloody lovely lid, really comfy cheaper than an arai and better colour schemes.
Probably gonna stay with X-Lite for a while now

Had AGV Ti-Tech for last three years, good helmet, but did leak at the top of the visor, got loose VERY quickly and restricted turning my head (got caught on my jacket collar). Recently acquired an Arai Chaser, excellent fit, nice wide-screen-like visor (although changing the visor is a real pain....so much so I've managed to pull the little lever out & can't get the little bugger back in....side pods don't seem to come off!!!) Plus no more catching on my jacket etc...Only thing I would say is it's certainly noisier in terms of wind noise than the AGV. Overall though would go for the Arai over the AGV (similar price range too!)

Here's my lid. I bought it before I knew what bike I was getting so I decided to get something that wouldn't match any bike :thumbup

Have had Shoei and Arai and thought that I would have something a little bit different this time so went for the Shark RSR2

Build quality is excellent, quieter that the Arai I used to have and after speaking to the Shark people at the NEC bike show and seeing how one of the lids survived a high speed crash hitting a tree I was sold.

3mm thick visor is a nice touch as well

was it the rsr that did the foggary rep?
nearlygot one of those off ebay last week.nice lids.
