Should my front discs move?

Just been out to have a smoke and a fiddle on the bike and noticed that one of my front discs moves a bit (3mm) up and down. I know that they are floating be is this normal?:dunno :eatcorn

Is it the same as the other side :O I would say 3mm is a little excessive

Its not the same, can someone go and check if theirs move up and down aswell.

Oh...... i've been having the same grief with my Galfers ! ! Excessive movement especially on the left disc. Emailed Galfer with no response.....sending mine away this weekend to ABE (All Bike Engineering) to have new rivets put in (£4 per rivet)!

Its the Left disc that moves more aswell.

Perhaps its the side that doesnt get cleaned as much.

Is there any after market discs that are ok??

The company that are doing my rivets (ABE) will do a pair of discs (their own model) for £100 per disc. Badger uses this company and he knows his stuff so worth a look.

If my Galfers weren't only 1 year old, that's the route i'd be going. I'll be ordering a pair from them when i need new ones .....:thumbup

Just read that the disc should move on the buttons so its not a problem to me

Yeah mate, apparently there should be slight movement but mine are f*cked...!!!
