I've got a 15T on the front and it still doesn't feel lively enough, my superduke used to lift in most gears with -1.
My tuono should piss the superduke but just feels flat compaired to it.
What revs will I be at at 70mph with 15-44? And top speed?
Sorry if it's been covered already, I've searched google best part of the day.

I have 15/44 on my '08 and it's lively enough, I think it's at 5k revs at 70
No idea on the top end I don't go there that often.

15/42 gets yer 5k rpm at 80mph.

Don't know aboot the top end, mine gets a weave on the front at 130/140

I'm not 100% sure what's on the front, I'll have to have a lookie see.
The previous owner said he went -1 on the front but it just feels a bit lack lustre to me.
My bikes a sunny day, go for a quick blast type of bike so I'm not commuting ect and just want something that pulls your arms off lol.

Enter you bike detail and sprocket sizes into Gearing Commander: Motorcycle Speed, RPM, Chain & Sprockets Calculator and it will give you all the information you require re revs and speed in any particular gear.

Ash, what miles are you getting till the fuel light comes on?
Cheers

About 110, but you can get it a lot lower if you try hard enough.

fookin hell Ash i dream about getting 110 :bawling 90 without fail and i always take it easy :biggrin

standard chain as far as i'm aware mate, its still on original pads from new, so it's time i rough it up a bit lol.
i had a look at the chain for pitch size earlier, but its not written on the side as usual?

It should be 525 pitch 106 links , if it's the original chain and mine was a Regina but just changed too EK, but I believe if ya going 44 might need 108 links ? Better check mate

Yeah, the standard chain will work with the 15/42 combo,....but its right at the end of the adjuster.Pretty sure you will need a longer chain for a 44t sprocket.

i use 15/42 gearing , 106 link chain , 120 miles full to fuel light on . 6k at 100 mph and tops out at 157 on a decent road and no side winds !!

just thought id put my 2 pennorth in !!

If yer go 15/44 mucker jist order the lot for a gen1. it comes wae a 108 as standard and the chain wheels will fit anall.

What's the standard gearing? 17-42? What ever it is I'm -1 on the front and 42 on the rear.
Aldo I've looked at loads of post on here and can I **** understand what your saying half the time lol, we should have a Aldo translator haha :thumbup
And my bike is a gen1 so does that mean I got a 108? Standard chain.
Cheers chaps.

So your bike is a Gen1?:banghead

Standard sprocket is 17/42.Chain should be a 525 with 108 links.The popular sprocket combo for a Gen1 is 16/44.

So yes,a 44t sprock will be fine,......and the standard chain should fit.

Yep as said on a gen 1 go 16-44 with standard length 108 chain, let me know if you just want sprockets or a full c@&s kit and I will sort you a price.
