Have you done the oil jet mod yet Andi?

That can cause your neutral selection problem too, it may not be air in the hydraulics.

They are quality kit.

Rsvr.net may become a distributer for their stuff if it all pans out but you could email Uli direct and make him an offer for one. You know what they are going for on Ebay and i know what they sell them to the trade for and there is plenty of scope for a bargain.

Pm me if you want his addy.
Uli is their managing director by the way. Their frame plugs are nice too.

OK. well now Sproker's blown the gaff, I can come out of the closet and say it too 'cos I've been reading all these clutch threads and wondering what the feck you're all on about. 'Ooo, oooo, my clutch is so heavy in town,' - you bunch of limp wristed Jap bike riders - just stop wanking so much with your 'friendly stranger' hand:jack:exclamation:nana

I agree with others on here, surely it's just a technique thing i.e. half a kick down from 2nd gets it into neutral. It's not as slick as some Jap bikes, but it has got soul ...

Also far easier to do when you're moving, not stationary.

In my best Julian clarey voice.

The MPL slave alters the bite point of the clutch also as well as making it lighter and still maintaining the correct lever free play. Makes it easier around town and on quick shifts.

You also probably never sat in a queue at a ferry terminal and tried to get neutral. Your not rolling so you can't use the rolling method. Second, forcing a bike into neutral over a dragging clutch means you are forcing the gearbox to shift with a clutch not fully disengaged and if nothing else that won't do the dogs. bearing etc etc any good long term.
Ever wondered why some Rsv have a very chattery gearbox in neutral and some are quiet.

Aprilia didn't mod it for the sake of it. The clutch isn't meant to drag so anything you can do to prevent it does you and your gearbox a favour.

Ladies clothes off and back to my normal manly voice now :devious
