Shock Question

Would anyone who knows be kind enough to tell me if a Sachs shock from an 04-08 Mille will fit my 01?
It's been fitted to an 03 Tourno Racing with no problem.

Hi simon

They will fit
you may need to add a washer where the bottom of shock mounts to the link plates

It has a longer stroke

I'm running an 05 ohlins Next one up from standard but not remote preload with 02 dog bone & linkages on mine currently

Had a 05 sachs on for about 100 miles just after i rebuild my bike in the winter,

Go for the Ohlins TTX as a replacement, it is a fantastic shock. It is from a Suzuki GSXR1000 and has to have the bottom converted to fit the RSV.
