I 've just picked up a 07 Tuono to find that the Set button does'nt do anything. When switching to multimode I press the set button and nothing happens.

Is it faulty or is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in adavance.

I cant remember whats supposed to happen when it's in multi mode. Does the diagnostics menu appear??

It's the settings menu, I've tried keeping my finger on the set button and nothing happens, it wont even let me reset the trip counter on trip 1 or 2.

There's sommat up wae it mucker, how long has it not been responding? Did yer pressure wash the bars, bike, controls etc. Did yer get caught in a biblical downpour ?

A wee bit more info on yer problem might help resolve yer issue.

This may sound daft, but try holding the button in when the engine is running. Can't think what could be stopping it, unless as Aldo says its got water in it.

Hi Aldo

I dont think it's had water in, but as i've only just picked it up could'nt be sure. There's no obvious sign's of water entering the display.

Grin I've tried pressing the button when the engine is on / off, still nothing.

strip it and give it a good clean, my starter button was playing up, stripped and cleaned and been perfect since.

Thank you all for your help, in the end it was something simple. The switch had been pushed in too hard and made the rubber insert stick, I pulled the rubber out releasing the stuck switch problem solved, it now works a dream.
