Hello,
My service light has a new tendancy to come on. I think it might be due to low battery - but nothing is recorded in the ECU fault memory (there is a code for low battery).
Symptoms are:
start bike - SERVICE light
ride maybe 2 miles, restart bike - light disappears
statt bike, ride 1/2 mile, restart light comes on
restart bike - service light not come on
power to the garage has failed, so my battery copnditioner not working. I have a data tool alarm. Bike not been used since Sunday, and I rode it today, seervice light on this morning on way to work. If left the old girl for a while, I'd understand. Battery was new in April.
Checking today after work (service light NOT on on way home and riden 20 odd miles today) Battery is reading 12.1 volts (according to bike) and reads higher when running 14.1-14.7 v (goes to 10.5 when cranking starter motor
Anyone else had this or similar? if there is an issue, any ideas why it's not being logged in ECU?
thanks in advance chaps/chappettes
