As mentioned on other thread do you have an after market immobiliser fitted.

There goes my theory then you'll need to get a dealer to see what bthe fault codes mean. Where are you from? Griff at Aprilia Performance should be able to tell you what the codes mean 7 whether they are serious or not.

What 'service' light are we talking about here?
The spanner icon that flashes when the bike reaches its service mileage,......or the warning triangle with the word service?
The latter is a fault warning icon that can only be reset when the fault has been cleared.

Yer need to keep the ignition on ie stop the engine with the kill button. Then go to the menu and scroll down until yer get tae diagnostic, selsect it and it should show yer the code and number of the fault.
Remember if yer kill the ignition yer'll lose the service warning.
Post up whit yer code and number is and we should be able to tell yer whits up.
