hi ya had same problem mush be comon i drilled my bolt out then fited a new insert into fram as to thin to tap hop this helps :devious

Yep same prob, just pulled the seat up eventually pulled off just left a bigger hole in the plastic seat lug, that I used a bigger washer to cover when I re fitted with new bolt, it's a riv nut in the frame, managed to hold it with some small mole grips and got the bolt out, I've got the tool to fit riv nuts in, just tightened it up a bit to stop it spinning round in the frame, new bolts, bit of grease on the bolts, bigger washer on one, re fit, happy days. What a pain though, just to get the seat off. :banghead

I've got the same problem too... Complete nightmare!! Really need to get the battery on charge before I take her out...

If you can get the bolt out you can tighten up Rivnuts with a nut, bolt, washer & a couple of spanners.
But not much help if it's all seized solid, I always fit my seat bolts with a dab of copper slip grease to stop this happening.
