i stapled mine on and left the original underneath. the sides can be a bit awqward to do as there is no solid fixing
Stapled mine over the original too .......difference is amazing, before I did it the vinyl seat is way too slippery now it just grips me right .
Spot on hamster ......in the middle of the seat there is not much plastic material to get the staples in.........
Another tip is get a very heavy duty staple gun as the the plastic underside seat frame is very thick and solid in certain places ......I had a fair few staples refuse to play ball and bend up all over the place........here's a pic of mine finished

I ended up hammering a fair few staples in once done.
Oops double posted ..............
But I deffo recommend this mod to anyone up can pick up material for a few quid on eBay then its just ur time and effort for a transformation......depending on the material u use it will benefit ur crown jewels as well lol

I have spoken to Alistair at custom upholstery, goons get him to do mine in alacantra also asked I'm he could put some small panels of harder wearing material on the back underneath so when I undo the boots holding the seat on my socket doesn't wear the material.
Good idea?

why dont you fit quick release pins for seat rather than using bolts. mine is held on with two R clips same as the tank

That's one of Alans Seats in Weston Super Mare, he's excellent and really flexible, does all my seats for me, zx6r, mille, R1, all perfect first time.

There Arrow shotgun exhausts cut in half running with an Arrow chip, no change in power after i cut them in half, well not that I can feel anyway. Pretty damn loud but I got stopped by the filth the other weekend & he didn't say anything :dowhat here's a before photo think they look far better now :biggrin
