Seat cowl

The 2003 RSV seat cowl will fit, as it had the same back end as the tuono 01-02 will not fit.

If the seat cowl is straight at the back thats the one.

If it has cut outs for the rear lights it will not fit.

Thanks Robbie. Ive got it. Theres a cowl on the bay now with cut outs so wont bid. I do have a beaten up cowl that came with the bike so ill see how much it will cost to paint. I would love a carbon one though :)
 
The ones for the 03 model or Tuono are very rare, when I sold mine it went for £160 :thumbup

Probably cheaper to repair the one you have. you could always get it wrapped or dipped in carbon :yes
 
I will ask my mate tomorrow as he works for a carbon fibre panel making company in Nottingham and they have made a Carbon one for the Tuono before.....although this wouldn't come base plate.
I have no idea how much they'd charge though but will happily ask.

I paid £140 for mine off eBay 2nd hand and that needs repainting!

Why are they so rare, thought they came as standard with the bike, in fact you don't see many with the pillion on,

No they didn't come with the bike, and most bike I have seen don't have them on
 
You would need the base of your pillion seat or buy a new base from Aprilia themselves as I'm pretty sure it would come without it.
 
They haven't updated their website yet and that one in the link is the wrong one for our bike.

However, as he has asked me to pop over with my bike so they can photograph one they have had made for the website, I know that they must of done one for someone recently.....I've just not been over yet as it's bloody freezing lol.

You could always ring and ask them....and even email them the pic of the correct one that Robbie has supplied mate.

There is a non carbon one on ebay at the moment, it's extremely over priced at £225....It does have the base plate fitted though.
