Hi all, not an owner as such just yet, more a potential owner (see my thread on 1000 forum :seriously thinking about it). Anyway I'm a long time admirer of Aprilla but just never took the plunge. If you read my post then please get back to me, the more opinions I get the easier it will be to guage if the Tuono's for me. Cheers in advance guys, Scotty.

I was out of riding for 30 years, but lusted after Aprilias during that time. Got back into riding 5-6 years ago (yeah, I'm old) and after a couple of Yamahas (vStar650 & FZ6), took the plunge and bought an '08 Tuono. It's in the shop now, getting a new stator & regulator (somewhat common problem in the early Gen2 bikes), but even so, I have no regrets, other than not buying one sooner!
