Need some help , had planned to ride down to the French alps next month but one of the group has not got his passport sorted . so were heading north of the border into Scotland .

any body got any good routes they can recommend and good places for b,n b possibly as far up as fort William. west side for definite .

Go up the east across the north coast then down the West.

Fort bill is a great place for a base..

Look up:
Kyle of lochalch
pass of the cattle (applecross)
road to ullapool
road to malaig
On your way up, get the ferry to dunoon and follow the coast up to oban
on your way back take in lech / glenshee..
Not forgetting glencoe
Kin el... ya cant go wrong !

better still, speak to aldo / rico.... or invite them to join you and show you their playground !

Hi mate, I've just done an 1100 mile trip over 3.5 days from Manchester up through the borders, over the Cairngorms, to Inverness, then Ullapool. Coming back down the west coast via fort William and Crieff.
