Alight folks first post on the new site!

Finally got round to changing my tyres today for some Dunlop Sportsmarts. However, whilst I had the wheel off I realised I need new front brake pads (almost down to the metal )

I've seen some SBS Sintered Race pads on the net for a decent price, anyone tried these?
Last time I fitted Brembo SC pads, good but expensive £100+ and they only lasted bout 4000 miles.
So what about the SBS? Any other suggestions?

excellent pads, got them on my gixer track bike and MV, if you go onto gixerboys and register there is a guy in ireland will give you a 10% discount, his name if Jonny Annet, i have bouhgt two sets from him and he is spot on:thumbup

Nice one Badger. Is it the Racing Sintered (RS) you use or do you use the Dual Carbon or somthing else?

The ones I'm looking at are SBS 762RS

I can supply you with a set of these, let me know what price you have seen them for and I will try and beat it.:thumbup

Cheers
Mark

Been out on the bike today and yesterday did about 200 miles total scrubbing in the tyres and bedding in the pads.
Dunlops are excellent. It was quite greesy on the roads today and grip and feedback were excellent almost compareable to dry grip with other tyres I've had in the past.

Pads seem good but I havn't been able to really test them yet due to the conditions. Going to Snetterton in March so will find out then.
But they cost less than half of the top range Brembos I had on there before and feel just as good so highly recommended.
