Hi Peeps
Just a quick 'Hi' to introduce myself,an oldie from the wilds of N Wales. Just picked a Mille as a track tool ( also have a SV1000s) will try and post some pics.http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww74/IanG_53/[/URL]

If nothing appears I guess I'll have to go back and read the instructions:dunno

Anyway, bike came with 2 almost new tyres (Only Pilot Sports unfortunately, but still got the prickly bits on) new chain & both sprockets, new Carbon Scorpion can on a new Harris hanger, also got standard can in as new condition.

Also King Carbon front guard,Carbon Hugger, and carbon ears,Baglux tank
cover, unopened pack of MotoGrafix number boards decals etc. Oh and a battery that was still sealed in it's box without the acid.

Bike has only done 12800 gen easy miles (mate of mine had it for a year and just threw money at it) previously it spent several years laid up in Spain as the local guy that owned it went for a holiday and liked it so much he married a local and stayed.

Oh forgot ,it's not long had a full dealer service (with bills for over £800 including new side panels as the originals were slightly marked!!)

Reckon if I had to I could probably sell the fancy bits and almost have a free bare bones track bike as I only gave £1750 for it :thumbup

Just waiting for next month to tax it now. Look out for lots of questions How To Do ??

Ian

Hi Ian and welcome :thumbup

Red seat eh ! :eatcorn thats different :biggrin

Welcome Ian, like you I'm new to RSVZone. If you intend tracking it, I've a full set of race bodywork(inc tank) and a spare set of wheels. I'm off to look at an 07 factory tonight, so none of my bits will be any good to me, if i buy it.

Thank you one and all,not sure about the colour scheme especially the red seat however beggars can't be choosers, can they?

Foxy, in an ideal world I would snatch your hand off, however I'm being made redundant in a couple of months and can't afford it at the mo' :dunno

I did buy a Kwacker 636R last month, but had it stolen before I could insure it:angry at least I have a COMPLETE set of road bodywork in the MSS Discovery colour scheme with lights & dual function leds to sell as it was wearing track plastics when it got stolen.

Come to think about it I also have a set of wheels complete to sell, I may go over to the Ninja6 forum & see if I can sell them there. If so I could fund your bits.http ://:eatcorn

Wanna sell the tank cover?

Vince
Sorry for not replying earlier, think I'll keep the Baglux cover on for the time being.

May even invest in a tank bag to fit, Bagster Towers, the UK importers are 1/2 mile from my house and from time to time "bargains" happen.

I had the unlimited loan of a new Sportster seat for my SV a couple of years back,Chris wanted an unbiased opinion and a donor bike to take some pics of for a fitting How To.

Next time I go to the club I'll find him and see if I can "Road test" a range of luggage :devious
