Saturday 21st rideout to Mid Wales n back

Right reposting this as Stix originally posted but put wrong date. I've had a few snifters now started a nice bottle of red and am now feeling brave enough to repost with the right date.

Route is Abergavenny to Brecon, lower chapel upper chapel, Builth, llandrindod, crossgates, newtown, craven arms, Leominster, Hereford and back to Aber. This route is much better then any of the ride magazine posted rides in this months mag.

So come on guys let's have a response and make an effort. Let's get the hills rumbling with the T thunder
 
Can't make this one but planning to head down for a weekend blast in the next month or so. Will let you know when bay & if you fancy meeting up & showing us the way, would be cool :thumbup

I'll try and be about though but I work every other sat. Be good to see u. Only a few posters on this site isn't there even though there's loads of members. U all know who u are
 
Will be down Friday night for a Saturday & Sunday blast, late June / early July so will let you know mate. Yes I know what you mean, revolving around work, family commitments & kids is a logistical nightmare, lol.

How much of the red you got left? Had 1/2 a bottle of JD in the cupboard. Thought I'd have one for a night cap, fook knows where the rest of it went went, bottle now empty :eek
 
Unfortunatley I cannot make it as Mrs Welly is none too good at the moment.

Do please remember me for future sorties though ... I very much enjoyed the last one.

Hope this missus is ok new. Don't hold your breath on myth, not seen him on here for a while. Be happy to meet you enroute when I head down in the near future, as long as you leave the camo ***** at home!
 
What do you mean forgotten eh. No chance never and I mean NEVER.

Ps I fell asleep rob so that's how much red. Even raided the little ones jelly jubes. All different colours they were, bit like camouflage gear ;)
 
sorry mate ,i cant make this one, got some serious cycling to do cause as im a plonker ive entered the Bristol bike fest mountain bike race, 3 hour solo race for fat old gits.... im gonna die, Gilo monsters doing it as well but in a team thing for 12 hours.. mad us ?
 
U're missing a good ride fella. The Newtown road we did last time was awesome. Old Gilo monster went off ahead and got lost in the end.
 
Back & just opened my free keg of heineken to watch rugby final :thumbup

Pissed down on way home but dry from ponty on.
 
Glad you had a good one chaps. I spent the morning in bed nursing a monster hangover, no way on earth I could have ridden today.

Hangovers seem to get worse as you get older, do for me anyway :(
 
Yes good ride today. Those roads are fantastic. Sun came out a bit but not much. However it stayed dry until I made my way home (50 miles from Aber) and ******* pissed down. Summer gloves got soaking & cold but luckily had put waterproof gloves under seat so not a problem.
