Sad old git needs to share

Tell her you'll sell the bike and take up golf instead but you'll have to buy a new set of clubs, join golf club at best part of £500 quid a year etc etc.

You spring-chicken you. You are probably the only person on here who passed their bike test after I did! Passed mine November 2001. Am 43 in a few months. Loads of biking years to go also.

Have been thinking about selling the bike as well though, getting stick of the missus even though part of the deal of moving house was to keep bike and get better car. Got better car, but racking up lots of cash on credit card. Flipping car tax is £445 this month as well :(

£445.00 Ouch I couldn't stand that.

bay: you'll have to buy a new set of clubs, join golf club at best part of £500 quid a year.

My Old Club this year £800 + £50 behind the bar + £30 for locker never mind the possibility of paying a joining fee at £1000 + and then there are yer golf clubs, bag, and gear etc.

I resigned after 26years. I only played one game there last year and had to leave £40 behind the bar and the feckers are messin aboot wae the return of ma Debenture and interest free loan.

S, am due tax for ma van, bike and daughters car at the end of the month. Van and car need two tyres each, bike needs a new set and ma trailer needs four tyres and a new deck at £300+ jist for the wood. Griff's going to do ma 12.5K service on the 28th at Whitburn so there's another £300+

Now where the feck did a put that length of rope?

Oh Happy Days.

Sounds familiar A.

Car needs four tyres soon, bike needs two soon.

Bike insurance this month as well.

Give me a lend of your rope when you are done......

I'll leave a note for them to send it to you. :yes

I have the same car tax trouble.
Used to be the same for every car until all this green nonsense
Started. Do gooders playing right into the governments hands, or should that be pockets?
Too many people.
We are plagued with Wind Turbines here in Scotland.
UGLY!
..... grumpy ol' man eh?!!

I'm proud to say I've never played a game of golf in my life, I mean whats the point of the whole bloody game. Whack ball , walk a bit , whack ball , walk a bit repeat until said ball is in a little hole. Then do it all again another 17 times...

ALDO , STIX ive got myself a few guns here if thats any help always willing to help a friend

Shotguns ******?? If so can I come shoot a few clays
Aldo I gave up my membership a few years back as well and just pay when I play now which is very rare. Prob have 4 games a year tops now but have all the kit so don't need to buy it. They've waived the joing fee at local club due to it being too expensive and new members not joining.

My tyres on my car are 235/19/35 and I need 2 on the front, bike tax, mot etc. If I want to fill my tank on the car its now £90 and I use that a week. Pence per mile in work doesn't seem to have gone up to keep up with increases in fuel.

Met with our financial advisor tonight. Need to meet him again soon. Arrggghhhhh
