Thats right Dolenc, and Scott has just added the latest Ohlins fork big shim stack internals. He may give us an insight on them on this page?

There are two of us called Scott....................................damn that's not at all confusing especially as we are both Kiwi's !!

Yes Dolenc have a post on here about the TTX36 so has 2 others in NZ now Valendino been one of them { Dean hey dude } Hows Peters motor work coming along ?? > I hear Bruce Telford has a RSV4 on order from Robert Taylor at CKT Ohlins here in NP . I got my Ohlins dealer here I have dealt with for years to stip down my forks & fully rebuild them with new bushes /gsxr1000 seals/15CST ohlins oil / replace the comp/rebound pistons for big port items & revised needles along with the Mid valve bending shim stack to a road spec that a good mate has developed for Robert through on going trial & error with abit of help from myself along the ways to get a perfect compliant feeling front end that responeds instantly to sharp bumps & high speed changes of directions even under hard braking conditions matching this with the TTX36 shock you will have the best set up money can buy & the handling equal to none of any bike out there . :doug:doug

Hey Sensei Scotty:thumbup, Peters engine he said is coming along slowly. Barrels have been bored & renikisaled, has hot cams for it also. It should go well! I didn't know that Robert Taylor was an Aprilia dealer! Gee if Bruce is getting an RSV4 and going to race it their maybe no point in me racing in BEARS this year:dunno. Na of coarse there is,as I am doing it for fun :dougnot to get noticed and to replace Max Biaggi:biggrin.

:deviousNot too confusing Kiwi_rsvr, one still lives in NZ and has an 03 Mille R and the other has fled the country, lives in England and has an 00 Mille R. See its easy really:lol:thumbup

Oh and I'm a Cantabrian....................I cant wait to get home to meet you guys :), If only my passport will let me north of Nelson :pirate

I am sure that we still class the South Island as part of NZ, although southerners do say the letter R in a funny way:nana

Doh no Robert isn't a dealer Dean may have worded that wrong he was the one that told me haven't talked to Bruce to see if it is corect but will try this week to see for sure as it may be my only chance of seeing & hopefully getting to try one . Not keen to sell my RSVR & the HSV Senator to buy a
RSV4 just yet may wait to try your one :devious

Same Scotty, not keen to sell both my Mille R's to get half an RSV4, will get one some time in the future:bawling, but will more than likely be spending all my present savings on this up coming race season, I think I may possibly be the worlds oldest rookie:lol
Anyway,doesn't 2x RSV = V4

I did at one time have a spare rear subframe, but Peters 2000 Mille R ended up needing one after a cartwheel at Taupo a season or two ago.

Check these guys out, they are really good to deal with and as you can see you can make an offer on the parts. I bought a set of heads, barrels, pistons, rear brake caliper and rear disc from them. As you can see they have 100% on their trades.

Rob Jackson at GP Honda at Mount Manganui 075746688. He did a great job, and I would definitely recommend him, ask him to do a map for each cylinder.

Cheers Angelo they are a big step above the standard ohlins shock . :thumbup
