In a hoose
I was speaking to my new found dealer, thanks to W'or Sean and he reckons 12 -24 months before Aprilia rip the fairings off the RSV4 and stick on some straight bars.

Misses pack ya bags, kids your can fly the nest, dogs to the pound and packing in the ****........ I'll keep the **** going as I need something to calm me down after a blast on the bike.

Hmmm i dunno.

Doesn't the V4 feel a bit revvy ? What do they rev to ? I like the grunt of a twin/single myself.

I would guess that Aprilia/piagio will not wait 12/24 months to introduce a new 1000cc streetfighter Tuono replacement as it is a good seller for the company that is within the large capacity streetfighter market. Maybe they are undecided what engine to use ie the V4 or a V2 :banghead

There are lots of rumours - RSV4 based, and a 1200cc V-twin from the Mana/Shiver family?
The Tuono Factory is no longer listed on the Aprilia website, but the R model is still showing, I doubt the replacement will be on sale this year.

Paul,
I would take a guess at a larger version capacity wise than mana/shiver VeeTwin. The Italian company's we have delt with are with out doubt the slackest people we have ever dealt with,,,how they ever get anything done is a complete mystery to me

Only one thing and one thing alone could improve the Tuono IMO.

A comfy seat.

Other than that I personally would not change a single thing.

I love my T.

Sad

I know

But very true.

First ride out this year today and I really enjoyed it.

Can you tell ???

Nobby, did you ever get anywhere with the seat upgrade??

Oh aye and have a look at my post regards boots eh, see what you can recommend. Mind wide feet..

:cheers

Aye agree with Nobist and understand that I am going back on what I initially said but it does sound promising. As the T shirt says, "Real men ride v-twins"

I was just reading a post over on AF1 apparantly Aprilia wont announce anything about the Tuono replacement before November.

Still dont know if it will be a naked RSV4 or a bigger capacity twin. Personally I don't want a V4, been there done that.
