Hi could someone give me a link to an image of oz light weight wheels markings , looking to buy one along way from me and dont wish to waste my time or theirs
They kindly gave me the following numbers from the v5 rsv my06 when i looked this up their surpose to be gold wheels this is an 07 bike and has black frame ,tank, seat cover,faring flash of red belly pan and grey side seat unit the wheels are royal blue, silver swingarm

The later bikes seem to have oz copies, a genuine wheel was forged and has oz stamped here...

All the info is covered by the disks and sproket, oz is on one side , and the size and batch is on the other. It is stamped on the forged item not raised as is the cast ones which weigh 40 % more !

The original oz wheels were anodized for lightness, badly cared for bikes often have been powder coated which adds weight !

The Wheels with" Evo forged" stamped in the rim would be gen2 lightweight wheels

Be careful, there are 2 type of forged wheels, one for radial brakes and one for gen 1 with normal brakes. Gen 1 forged wheels do not have the word "forged" in the rim.
