It depends if yours is a Gen1 "04" or a Gen 2, Gen 1's have the reg/rec located on the right hand side rear seat cowl, Gen 2's in the front right hand fairing.

Yo, thanks for the insight... That would make it a Gen 2 then... In the right hand side fairing.
