RSV wanted - help keep my twin need fed!

Hi guys,

Hope this isn't too rude making my first post in the wanted section, but here's some background.

Had a bit of a ding on the TLR last week. The bike's not too bad, but I'm sure insurance faffing could drag on - and I have a track day booked on the 10th of August

I need an interim bike (that may well become a 2nd/1st bike). Always liked the RSV's and seems like a good chance to move onto one. Budget is absolutely capped at £2k. I have an extensive watched list on eBay but I've always had good experiences buying/selling from forums - so does anyone have anything nice for me?

Hi mate,

I have a 2001 RSV mille in matt black coming up for sale end of august. Looking at £1900 with fresh back tyre and service, 22,500miles currently (have owned since 16,500) ridden in dry weather. Serviced with aprilia dealer but not FSH. Let me know if interested.

Haha, cheers guys. Cheers Chris but that will be a bit late - I have an appointment at Mallory on the 10th.

Well I have foregone most good advice... as usual. I've gone for a slightly more expensive modified normal non-R RSV than spending less on a nice straight unmolested one. Ahh well, what's the worst that can happen? Off to bring it home Friday if my thumbs halfway mended by then. I look forward to asking you guys lots of stupid questions!
