Anybody done this one at all ?

I`ve owned a 2004 RSVR before, but never even ridden a Tuono, so I`m just interested in honest, and objective :)biggrin) opinions about how the Tuono feels compared to the RSV ?

Yeah, I know I`m being a girl here, but I`m a touch older than I was, and now want a more comfy riding position, but STILL the beautiful touches of the Ape.

Enlighten me please.............:devious

We got both and both 08 factories

Both brilliant bikes but the tuono is more for day to riding than the rsv

Its as easy as that, get both and its hard to go wrong

They both perform the same they both look the same, its just the tuono has more days of the year I feel I can use it

Can only get one of them, Head or heart what do you go with, mmmmmmm

Rsv cons position as in uncomfortable for longer journeys

Tuono cons position as in windblast over 80

Rsv and tuono pro's, too many to list

Dynamo: Thanks for the reply mate.

Regarding the Tuono, I know that it`s effectively a naked bike, but does it have any weather-protection, for the rider, at all, as I will be doing some commuting on it as well........

Not used the tuono in the wet yet but I would imagine its pretty poor on weather protection

You could get a screen like this :devious

I've gone the other way tuono to RSV ! the Tuono is very confortable and brilliant for commuting but the lack of fairings does mean you get very wet even in a light shower of rain! (always used to carry a pair of lightweight waterproof trousers under the seat, you do need them if it rains!) Also you need to be prepared for your sports bike riding mates leaving you behind on open stretches of road as the Tuono is only realy comfortable up to 120ish, it will go a lot more but you dont have the same level of control as a faired bike! But if your back and wrists can't take a sports bike any more the Tuono is well handling grunty fast comfortable alternative!
