is not as much of a mess as it looks, so where is beanie??????

hope he was ok after crashing this.

wow i woulnt have a clue . i did notice the frame is nice and shiny inside though ;-) ..

Yep, thats her alright, Looks like the phoneix is gonna rise from the ashes again, to stomp over some more silver ones, eh lee :biggrin

Hi people, I'm helping Evan on this (no, I'm not the ugly one on pic 4..) and he's been keeping me updated with links to the forum so I thought was only polite to pop in and say hello..I know the bike looks in a bit of a state now, but we'll get her right again:thumbup

Yeah, just a shame it was sooooooo slow on the mountain section, think it had something to do with the small foreign plate on it meant it was castrated :biggrin, or the owners cahooneys wern't big enough to be able to play with the big boys:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

Or they were just constantly drunk or hungover, and knackered from the ride up from frogland, :thumbup

Nice to see an RSV being dragged from the ashes, soon to be ridden again. :thumbup

Bet it brings tears to your eyes Beanie, it would me seeing my pride and joy being decapitated like that. :cry

I know, tbh I would have rather gone without losing the frame, but that is the deal the breakers have with the DVLA nowadays. I'm a Ducati man(sorry guys) and next on the chopping board is a 996, don't know if I'll be able to cut my beloved trellis. Is such a shame to see how many people just brake bikes for parts when all they need is a bit of work, especially when, as a biker, you can see the time and effort the owners have spent on them (as in the case of Beanies' bike).

After busting myself up on a zx6 and a car head on 5 years ago, and spending 2 years having my shoulder rebuilt, i bought a kr1s to get back into the groove, but that decided to repay me by cracking a crankcase, so i bought a B*w, but was too big and heavy, considered a bla**e, but relised i could get alot more ape for not much more wonga, so on a tightish budget i cought her.

As time has gone by, only 8 months i know, but alot of dealing and buying off ebay from around the world, i had managed to get her looking ok, which is good, but more important to me is something that handles sweet, and has a luverrrly growl when you open the throttle, you know what your gonna get, a big GRIN.

To me, this is what is so special about this bike, and why i am both sorry to lose her to a new home, and glad that she will give someone else a chance to experience it for themselves.

Me, well, the bugs bitten, since buying and losing her, i have had the insurance cheque payout, and i have some spare cash stashed in a account, that is going to go towards a newer model, hopefully a 2005 onwards, although i reckon it's gonna get a respray quite soon, as none of the colours match my riding kit. lol

I think of her as a introductory bike, to twins, grins and a empty bank balance :thumbup

Beanie, on the description of the bike in your garage I couldn't help to notice you mention a PC3, but there isn't sign of it on the bike. Do you know anything about it?

Yeah, i have it hear, i had the inforad and alarm and all my personal bits removed from the bike by the insurance company engineer before i signed her over and returned to me, as they were'nt covered.

I have found out i can use it on my new bike when i get it, so have no intention to sell it, cheers
