RSV R? going tonight on E Bay 10 30 pm

I'm very intrested BUT first It was Listed as a Factory.Then he /she said it was just an RSVR new shape. Good price bUT it dont have Ozz wheels or gold forks { olinis} did the new shape Call them R and juist gave them standerd suspention and wheels?????????????????? it 53 reg pleas help me :dunno befor sale ends
 
Hello fella,

I have a 04 RSVR new shape on a 53 plate, no Ohlins on the front, but do have Oz wheels but bought them as an upgrade mate.

The factory has the full work and is effectively is the same as the old RSV R.

On the other hand the RSV1000R has sacks suspension on the rear, no carbon, no Oz wheels, but on models 06 onwards had front Ohlins suspension, radial brembo's, and look a like Oz wheels.

Thanks a lot gonna wait till I can afford the newer one with the sexy bits. Still got my 03 RSV to play on! But good are they worth jack **** now!

I have seen the BOOK Price but they never make it on E Bay seriously what do you think its worth ??????????

To be honest, I would say keep it as the bike looks VERY smart and don't know if you're aware but the older models (like yours) have more mid-range grunt & engine braking than the newer models.....it's not quite the right time to sell anyway, if you've gotta trade up wait until April/May to get a decent price plus new plates will be out and more second hand/quality bikes will be around.:biggrin
 
your bike is VERY nice indeed, for the right price i could be intrested myself..
 
Jeez only £2500 for mine in parkers guide :jack i'd want at least £3-3200 :roll just as well i'm keeping it. And yes thats a nice bike matey, keep it :thumbup
 
I admit the paint is just a little bit decadent 80.s but the slingshot Killer K was quite a bike in its time.I still drag race it and it runs 10 second standing QM ,with 30 thousand on it I love it and would never sell it!
