RSV or TUONO?

I need some help deciding on which to get. I have my choice of either a brand new zero km still on the showroom floor 2007 RSV1000R in Black with the Blue wheels or a 2007 Matte Black Tuono with Blue wheels also brand new still on the showroom floor. Has anyone here owned an Tuono? RSV's are dead sexy but I am thinking the comfort may become an issue. I am test riding a Red demo 2007 RSV tomorrow but the Tuono can't be ridden. I like the Tuono but I love the RSV. I used to own an RC51 (SP2) and found that uncomfortable so I am leaning towards the Tuono so I will be able to spend lots of time on it. I also have a line on Leo Vince exhaust for $500 (brand new) that will fit either bike. I hope they sound better than some of the youtube videos I have heard. Are Arrows worth the extra dough?

HELP!

RSV

if its just comfort you are worried about, dont I haven,t ridden a 2007 model but if my rsv is anything to go by it aint exactly uncomfortable to ride. But it don,t matter what i think just buy whats right for you at the time as both bikes can be total weapons in the right hands.

good luck and buy happy

WOW! I rode the RSV today and walked away very impressed. I rode for almost an hour and no comfort issues. I do not ride on my wrists as I tend to grip the tank with my knees from the old motocross days. I am buying the RSV even though 15 people on the Tuono site said buy the Tuono over the RSV. One day when the pain in my back, neck, wrists overcomes the smile on my face I will get the Tuono. I love the acceleration, brakes, Ohlins front end and the look of the RSV.

I have recently traded in my tuono for a rsv factory, the tuono was fantastic it kept up with any litre sports bike up to 110mph ish and handled just a good as a millie, once over the ton faired bikes then have more speed! The tuono was very confortable and a cracking ride on the commuting run. My rsv has took me a week or so to get used to riding a sports bike again but its pretty comfortable now! The tuono is the most comfortable of the two but you need to be sure you can live with your mates sports bikes leaving you behind on open roads!

Buy them both & hide one in a mates garage so the Mrs dosn't find out!

I did that but I hide the tuono in our garage

I told her it was hers, only trouble is I have to consult her on my choice of mods

A guy in MCN years ago who had a few bikes said he always bought red bikes as his missus knew nothing about bikes and if it was red she was none the wiser lol

I bought the Black RSV1000R with the Blue wheels! $9000 CAD straight out of the crate. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and get my Leo Vince cans on there.
Looking forward to learning all about these bikes. Is Griff still around in the U.K.? I hear he is the man to go to over there. There are very few Aprilia's over here in Canada but I hope I can find someone as pasionate and capable with the bike over here.
