I'm lead to believe its for an 03, it WILL clip in and stay secure on a 98-00 bike but it was a bit close with the fairings for my liking, no idea what the deal is on an '01-'02 but they're alot more similar to the 03 than the 98-00

i paid £55 posted for it and would just like my money back, 2 others went on ebay recently for £87 and £100 but my paypals been hacked which means i can't sell on ebay now, great!!

Part number underneath is 104802

Would also swap for interesting parts, all offers welcome, excellent condition with no rips or tears.

Erm as little1 has seem to have gone a bit shy does anybody else know if this will fit my bike?

RSV rear seats have always been a mystery to me mate..ya never know what fits what. :dunno
 
As far as I know Chris, the seat units were changed over between 2000 and 2000.5 and not revised again until the introduction of the complete revamp in 2003.5/4. Looking at the pic, the seat has the squared off end, so i'd say it certainly will fit your 2001 squire! Providing it isn't a late registered 2000 bike.........The pre 2000.5 ones have a pointed profile at the rear, and it took f&^kin ages to find one! :)

Quick one Cheers LEON the seat was recieved this Morning WHoop WHooooooop!!! tried it on and it was a perfect Fit!! soooo excited for the camping trip now!!
