Is there a major difference in the ride/handling between an 03 mille r and an 04 rsvr factory? The reason i ask is, i have an 04 factory ( had an 01 mille r 3 years ago ) but an liking the older style mille the more i look at them.

The factory handles brilliantly , but it`s been a while since i rode my old mille so i can`t compare the two.

Secondly it`s less expensive and if i sell the factory i could pimp the 03 mille up and get a cheap track bike aswell.

Ideally it`d be an 03 with radial brakes, blue oz`s and the 01/02 style tail.

Hi there, I used to own a 05 RSVR (non factory) and could'nt get on with it. Imo it was to focused and was like riding a 250cc. I really fell out with it when I woke up in a ditch with the bike untidyly arranged around me

The 01 RSVR I own at the moment on the other hand is another story :inlove I love the 01 it does everything I want it to. Its comfy, I'm 6 foot and 15 stone, its quick as f-ck, looks the dogs dangly bits and sounds like Thor coughing :doug

Get yourself an older one in Matt Black they are the fastest ones by far :pirate

I know what you mean about it being focused. Maybe too much fot the road.

I like the look of the 01 R , but want the radial brakes. There is an 03 r for sale near me i may have a look. I`m sure some one would want to swap the 03 body work and gold wheels for the 01 body work and blue oz`s if i do get it.

Here`s my old 01 mille R. Before it met its end.
