rsv mile shift light not working.

hi, my shift light on my rsv 2002 does not come on at all ,I have tried resetting to come on at lower revs but still nothing. does anyone know what maybe the problem or how I can remove the clocks to investigate.

does it come on during the test sequence when you turn on the ignition?
If not the bulb or circuit to the bulb would be my guess.

hi, no I don't think it does. think ill have to have the clocks off and investigate. any idear how they come off ?

I must admit I find the shift light really annoying and distracting, ya better off without it.
