Sorry to hear the news, those damn sheep are at it again.

If your fully comp, then claim. After all that's what you pay your premiums for, isn't it!

How bad is it, surely it's not totalled?

Glad to hear you're OK though.

Fukc the sheep, what about the bstard farmers/greenlaners with their muddy footprints on the road......Did just the same myself this morning, hit a load of mud on the road coming round a bend, high sided, slid 200 yds down road with bike following me!!!!!!Holy Sheeit, everything is shagged...not a happy bunny, I'm sure Sharky will assist with photo's once he's sorted his camera...not a pretty sight!! BUT I'm ok (won't be doing much wanking for the next few days as wrists are bloody sore) But got to say cheers to my big friend Sharksky for coming out & assisting in my hour of need...Ta mate! Might be able to afford a Honda C90 once the insurance comes in!
PS I have got my own pictures but can't bear to post them...rest assured the side of my bike you can see on avatar & signature is fine, other side is totally mashed!!!!!!

Whats to say ?, Glad the both of you are hear to tell the tale , albeit battered and bruised. Heal quick guys :)

Such is life guys...I'm just pleased to be here to try and make 'light' of the issue no matter how pissed off I am, might not feel the same when I have to deal with the insurance company tomorrow!!

Glad to hear you're OK NewBoots.

We have the same **** down here in Kent, bloody farmers trundle out of the fields leaving all kinds of crap on the roads, bloody lethal.

Make sure you mention to your insurance company that the cause of the accident was the debris/mud on the highway, they'll make a claim against the farmer/council. If they are successful in obtaining funds it will not affect your NCB.

Newboots and Sean, pleased to hear you are here with us. The roads are definately a bit on the treacherous side at present. Get some rest and back to full health soon gents. Take good care of yourselves and good luck with getting your respective bikes back on the road in the very near future :thumbup

cheers guys, aye the insurance company should pass the day tomorrow, lol, think it may be time for a factory tuono to tone it down,,,,ahem,,,lol todays lesson is once yer in the 40's your no longer invincible :-(

hell, makes me wanna go a little slower now.......feck that, its only materials, a good reason to start over with better upgrades....get better guys.

glad to hear you are ok, up here in scotland i had a mate that took a farmer to court for negligence. basically the farmer had moved from one field to another and left a mountain of crud all over the road which my mate hit. In scotland it is now law that if a farmer leaves debris on a road, he must put up a sign or some sort of warning. likewise for a farmers animals, he is responsible for keeping them off the Queens highway.
if you got any pics of the debris and it has obviously come from a farmers tractor it might be worth pursueing. he ended up with a new bike and kit and a payment for his injuries.

My thoughts exactly. Glad you guys are ok. Dont the farmers do this every year?:pirate

Bloody hell, the toll is stacking up :dunno its bloody scary how many here have been injured badly & bike damaged of late. Glad everyone has walked, limped, dragged themselves away with their lives. Pains me to hear your pride n joys being damaged like this, but so glad no deaths.
Goes to show how easy we riders can come unstuck because of some other frikken priks inconsiderate & crimminal actions. Crikey lads, **** all over the road is not on..someone is responsible and must be brought to answer...they leave a death trap on the road, plain and simple. :jack
Again, glad everyone is in one piece, albeit bruised and battered. :thumbup

Glad to hear your ok, take it easy and just keep popping them painkillers !

Cheers,

Ritch

Cheers for the condolences, I do hope all the unlucky victims of accidents get well very soon. Just got back from casualty, as my left wrist was swelling this morning but thankfully no broken bones. I have thankfully got photos of the road and will be forwarding them to my insurance company.....To Everyone else, please take it easy, we don't want anymore Italian machinery binned or injuries inflicted. All the best, Scott

insurance company tells me that as it was open farm land its ok for sheep to wander and noone is too blme apart from the sheep, nice to know the hard earned is invested properly in insurance,
