Brilliant...Wish I had the time/patience/skill and money to do something like that..Nice to see some individuality..

That is brill. My dad has got an original feather bed 'Dominator'. Yours brings the bike bang up to date.

Thanks for the compliment :)

I am pretty happy with the result so far and hopefully when completed you will see it written up in the press as a few of the UK bike magazines have shown some interest during the build process, ie 100% Bikes, Streetfighter and classic bike Mag.

I think there are interested because, as you say i have tried to be a little different and bring the Cafe Racer into the 21st.

Thanks again

Wow! That was beautiful dude!

Great photos you got there.

Brilliant...that looks great. hows it sound with those pipes?

Well it is not running properly yet, some injector and ecu issues still to sort out , but when it has fired up, ie with Aerostart spray.... it is LOUD!!! When it is running properly i will put some video on Youtube.... :)

Cheers and thanks for the comments

Top job, absolutely AMAZING looking bike my friend, LOVE IT :devious

Amazing bit of engineering there, but im slightly worried about it overheating with where the rads are mounted, but you know better than me, im sure you've done your homework!

Looks stunning, can I have a go?

Thanks for the comps! yep did the maths, 50% more cooling area than the std bike, so time will tell if it is enough!

Stunning concept. Well done :thumbup LOVE IT

Probably handle well too, minimal sort of build makes a change to see a modern take on a Triton.... Apton maybe? Norprilia

Last time I heard those pipes they were on a Daytona 500 and that shook windows in their frames and nearly made your ears bleed when it went past, god only knows how loud that will be.

LOL Hope you've got friends in blue :devious

Cheers, I really appreciate the positive feedback :)

Yes the pipes are very very loud, i have the bike running now on the new EMS, just sorting out some teething issues and getting some basic fuel and spark maps before i take it off to the Dyno.

I have been monitoring the noise levels, before repacking the cans, idle was 94 dB a tiny blip of the throttle was 105dB ( human perception of sound volume ( loudness) doubles for every 3 dB increase. After repacking the idle is down to about 87 dB but at 4500 RPM ( no load) at a staggering 125dB.... UK limit is 99dB so they are only 8x too loud at the moment...........ha ha ha

I am currently modifying a set of std ducati 900 Monster cans to fit so i can get it through the MSVA registration test, i think i will have to get some alternate pipes made to keep the noise levels reasonable.
