Hey... Yes rad and fans under the seat :)

The wheelbase is 1480mm same as a Hayabusa, not crazy long!

Cheers

Update: she is now running with the new fuel injection ECU, not with out its share of challenges... And i can confirm that the pipe are very very loud.... 92 dB at idle and over 105 dB with a blip of the throttle. Need to do some serious work to get the sound down below 99 dB at 4500 RPM from the MOT test....:devious

I am hoping to do some video of the first Dyno run for Youtube, in the next few weeks.

Cheers

Looks absolutely stunning that man :thumbup :thumbup
I'd ask how much, but one that wouldn't be the point, and two i've not got the know how to build one :laugh Are you entering it into the MCN thingymabob? You should!

Always wished Aprilia had gone ahead and produced the blue marlin prototype

Wow , when did they desgin that prototype????? Never seen that before?

Re the MCN custom bike show comp, actually i missed the deadline by 24hrs, as a mate saw it the day after entries closed and rang me. I rang the entries officer and pleaded, but COMPUTER SAYS NO!!!!

Well there is always next year..... anyway it is not quite finished yet, so i should not complain....

Thanks again for the compliments..... actually i have had a couple of requests to build copies.... so you never know, someone might twist my arm hard enough! it would take about 6 months if anyone did :biggrin

The prototype was unveiled in 2001 but unfortunately never made it to production :( Be nice to know if the prototype was fully functioning and if so, where the hell is it now :biggrin

You can find more pictures and a write up on it here - click me

That's a bummer about the MCN thing. As you say though, there is always next year. I can imagine it sounds bloody marvellous :inlove

Hey Cheers!!! That's one of the best quotes i've seen, mind if i use it?!!!

I have just taken a little video, which i will try to put on youtube, but i had to take the megaphones off for the moment and replaced them with some std ducati cans, as i need to get it through the new vehicle approval test and the mega's are WAY TO LOUD :devious, sound like a MotoGP bike.

Now all i have to do to finish it is have the seat covered, tidy up a bit of the wiring and then off to the Dyno.:doug
