Aldo doesn't like that, or the rim tape :( Maybe I should coat them in cheap Cider ;)

I could tell you a story about being rimmed. It was by two hookers at the Jarvis Hotel in Cardiff about 6 years ago. Heinekin Cup final at Millennium stadium. But that's another story. Need to be here on 20th Augustb for the full details.

1. They are quite easy to put on.
2. It's not quite as easy as it looks.

I had two sets. First set wasn't quite long enough to do full loop. needed about a 2" gap between rim tape. which I covered with Aprillia domed stickers. I ****** up on first rim which meant after a later **** up meant I did'nt have enough tapes to do the full job. hence riding around for a Month with only 3 sides done.

2nd set I got from a differant supplier has a slight overlap & is much better. despite fact they took a Month to arrive from E Bay. They are 10mm previous were 9mm. I think the 10mm ones are easier to apply as they seem to fit the rim better, less room for error.

They are quite easy to apply & suppliers usually send an extra two in case of fook ups. I found the easiest way was to have intended application area at 9.00 o clock then start from 10.00 o Clock & gradually apply anti clockwise. Move wheel then apply 2nd tape.

I got the tapes from E Bay i'll pm there name tomorrow once I'm sober. I have added the domed stickers which overlay the seam about & look quite good just don't use the bike for 48hrs or else they'll fly off. So far this excercise has cost me two sets of rim tape & 6 sets of domed stoickers. i'll let somebody else do the maths.

They are reasonably easy to apply hpowever When the bike went on tye Dyno last week you cpould tell they were't quite that straight but who cares who's looking that close. Word of warning if you do go for the domed stickers that come in a pack of four make sure they're not just the wheel stickers that come in a pack of 10 which are ****.
