Right guts.......

The road Mille will be getting ready for hibernation soon, so am planning on sorting a couple of things out and need some help/advice....*

1 - I have a slight leak from one of the exhaust header pipe joints, where the downpipe slips over the link pipe section has "belled. out" slightly, leaving a few mm gap which is leaking slightly.........so, is it possible to "reshape/reduce" the diameter back to where it should be???*

2 - On the underside of my Devil can should be 2 little spring retainers which are attached via one of the rivets securing the stainless band at the inlet end of the can. Unfortunately, i have lost one (my fault as used too small a rivet and it worked loose and fell out somewhere!)......so was wondering if any of you metal fabricators could possibly make me one up to match the original (which i can send as a template).*

for nr.1 use this: i've used it lots of times with great results! just take care not to start the engine (it cures with heat), instead use a hairdryer or a propane torch (with the propane torch heat the metal, not the sealant)

Will do buddy, it's looks to be just a small piece of stainlees with an angle bend into it...........be easier when you see it!!!!

hi bud i think i could knock you one or two of them together is it stainless steel or titanium ?
i have some stainlees plate kicking about so that would do but dont have any titanium not sure if i could get my hands on any but i know a guy that might :devious. how soon do you need it mate ?

it looks like a wee bit of bent mecanno,or one of those wee shelf brackets you find inside cheap wardrobes,lol

That would be ace bud.......it's just stainless, and no rush at all buddy..........do you want it through or measurements etc....???

magic bud........it's 25mn long x 10mm wide...... rivet hole is 4mm buddy.
