riders4research track day @ Snetterton Thursday 18th August

I am deffinetly going, spoke to wifey and got the ok but can't purchase it until end of July, hopefully there will be space, I'm a novice.

whooooo hooooooo, booked in on inters group, time off work all ok'd, rareing to go now......can't wait.
Tis a long way thats why i booked in at a local b&b for me and the missus for Wednesday AND Thursday night.....BRING IT ON !!

Evening groovers, hope your all keeping well & life's treating you good?

Had a catch up with the guys at Easy Track today & they've given me the option to switch this event from the Thursday to the Friday. Idea being more may want to get involved if it falls next to the weekend meaning peeps need to take less time of work if travelling from a far & will have time to recover before heading back to work. My first reaction was it would be a logistical nightmare letting everyone who's already booked know, they then informed me only 13 riders have booked in so far, so I guess it's not going to be hard to track those riders down?

Nowt set in stone yet, normally costs more for a Friday but it will remain the same & those already booked will not have to do or change anything apart from to turn up on the right day. Over to you guys, thoughts on the back of a postcard please, lol. Need to let them know ASAP.

To give you some idea how much track time & space you'll have with Easy Track, they've run two events at Snetterton recently with 75 riders total, two other organisers have had over 200 riders on the day!

I know space will fill up nearer the time, just keen to make the event a success for the cause & to have a great day out with lots of like minded folk. Big thanks to those already booked & to those that intend to, hopefully switching to the Friday will help encourage more to take part?

Chow for now, Robbo.

time off all booked, b and b all booked....if it's gonna change Robbo i need to know asap !!

You were my only real concern Dave. Tracked down all the other riders & Thursday or Friday is fine by them. I think you're the only one booked off here so far? Is it a major problem? I got till tomorrow to decide, was Easy Tracks suggestion based on past booking patterns, not mine. Aim is to generate more interest but don't want to mess up for anyone!

Thanks for the continued support guys. Think I've now managed to track down all riders already booked & Friday is a goer for all, so I'm going to take the plunge & change the day. Will start a new thread shortly to avoid any confusion :biggrin

Dunno, I'm changing my mind more than a woman

I actually struck a deal on a 2002 RSV-R last night. Thought I'd better just double check with me insurance broker this morning and (bearing in mind I pay £120 fully comp on the Tuono) they wanted £500!!! **** that

No doubt I'll end up with summet daft and regretting it. Shopping for it is fun though :yes

My insurance company are telling me the tuono is group 19 and fc Is over £700 and I'm 31 ok no garage but 3 ncb, I don't know how everyone gets it so low.
