Ride out Friday 9th

Gents,

Looking at the 5 day weather forecast it's looking as if we are going to have some nice clear sky's this Friday,
Who fancies a evening ride out then?
I spoke to Hooked earlier today and suggested that we head towards the Herne Bay area.......
We will be meeting at the Dartford Esso Services at 18.30-19.00. let us know if your up for a blast or if you can meet us on route.

Thats the best time to ride the country lanes mate.....you can see whats coming of a night time.
Did you know that the RSV Mille has some switch's on the left clip on !!!! and one of them enables you to turn on some lights !!!! this way you can have fun after the sun goes down too.....BRILLIANT :thumbup:thumbup

If you can ride in the dark, you will be able to go much faster and sharper in the daytime.
Half of my 100,000 miles have been ridden in the dark, either after sunset or before dawn

Yes Craig will be leading the way...... and if the usual garage is closed then I suggest that we meet at the BP at Crittalls Corner

Sound's good to me mate. :thumbup . As soon as I know if I can get outta work early enough i'll post up. Hope to see you guy's Friday...
 
Please be all careful. Roads take an absolute long time to dry up, and the amount of wet and dry rotting leaves on the roads really plays havoc with grip.
And you cannot spot leaves in the dark.
So, take care.
I always ride at night, and last night was a nightmare. compounded by the incessant rain.

Looking at the BBC weather and also the Met office just now, it seems that tomorrow evening's weather has changed......and it aint looking good for the Friday night ride-out.....I will update the post again tomorrow afternoon to advise if it is still on!:thumbup:thumbup
