Hi there everyone. I would like to invite you all to ride possibly one of the best routes in the Country. Yeah I know its a bold claim but its a fantastic route. Meet at the Unicorn in Gunthorpe Nottingham at 7am and travel down to McDonalds at Melton Mowbry. Depart McDonalds (Melton) at 7.30 and down the 6047 to the McDonalds near Market Harborough. Its a truly stunning road that I never get bored of riding. Once at McDonalds we can share stories of near misses and close calls on the way down then tootle off home or ride the 6047 for the rest of the day if you want, I'm open to suggestions. The more the merrier :thumbup

Yep...the olde 'rollercoaster'...good bits to it BUT some of the road surface was in a shocking state last time I rode down it, really cut up with some big pot-holes! Adds to the fun I guess.
Just watch out for the camera vans, with the swivel cameras...thought we got caught earlier in the year.

On the hill in the village with the small hump back bridge. Saw em there earlier this year to on a Sunday the cheeky :jack

They have a little camera that sits on the side of the van van that can swivel through 360 degrees

Depart Melton at 8ish and travel down "Gods own Road" B6047 to McDonalds at Market Harborough LE16 7FD. Have a chat and wait for anyone else thats coming, have a play on the 6047 back up to Melton and then open to suggestions :thumbup Everyone welcome but it would be great to see more Rsv's than inline 4's.
