Hi there everyone. I would like to invite you all to ride possibly one of the best routes in the Country. Yeah I know its a bold claim but its a fantastic route. Meet at the Unicorn in Gunthorpe Nottingham at 7am and travel down to McDonalds at Melton Mowbry. Depart McDonalds (Melton) at 7.30 and down the 6047 to the McDonalds near Market Harborough. Its a truly stunning road that I never get bored of riding. Once at McDonalds we can share stories of near misses and close calls on the way down then tootle off home or ride the 6047 for the rest of the day if you want, I'm open to suggestions. The more the merrier :thumbup

maybe meet meet up at mkt harboro mcdonalds and have a blast back with you as i only live up the road from there, me and my mate usually meet there most sunday mornings and where ever we 're going we normally go up the 6047 first, awesome road. saw a couple of silver millies last week coming in as we were going in fact. i'll let you know nearer the time

That was me and my brother last weekend. I'll be there on the 4 th. Prob come and meet you at Melton and ride down. Last Sunday I rode the 6047 4 times! The road from Melton to bourne is also as good.

Right then if its not raining this Sunday these are my plans:devil Meet at the Unicorn in Gunthorpe Nottingham, NG14 7FB at 7.30am. Travel down to McDonalds at Melton Mowbry LE13 1RB. Depart Melton at 8ish and travel down "Gods own Road" B6047 to McDonalds at Market Harborough LE16 7FD. Have a chat and wait for anyone else thats coming, have a play on the 6047 back up to Melton and then open to suggestions :thumbup Everyone welcome but it would be great to see more Rsv's than inline 4's. Did the ride out this morning although a little later than scheduled for me thanks to the mrs:exclamation
nice to meet you matt and it was a good blast back up. I never ever get tired of riding that road it's awesome. I'll be out again next Sunday if it's dry. Need to get the thermals out now.

Spud, I reckon that road has got it all. Flat out, chin's on the tank, and then amazing twisty's. I, like you, never tire of it. We've named it "Gods own road". I ride that road every sunday morning all year round if the sun is shining. It was good to meet you, your mate and your Brother this morning.

I bumped into Spud and his gang just after you left big fella. Had a play with them on "Gods own road" and then went home very tired. Hopefully they'll all get out of bed next week lol :thumbup
