Any bods got any tips on cleaning/tidying these up.....cab u get rid of all of those tiny scratches??:dunno

My Scorpion Ti can has a couple of polished areas from the hanger bracket rubber as it was fitted to my EXUP before the RSV. A polisher mate reckoned a gentle going over with a Scotchbrite pad would sort it but I haven't had a chance to do it yet.

Scotchbrite mate, hard work but really brings them up like new,Ive done all mine, removes scratches & the marks where the strap goes

ti forms a protective film over itself once open to the elements thats why its used in the petro chemical industry

at work we use stainless pickling paste (acid) but it goes brown at 1st wash it off and comes up clean , but if you dont get an even coat on you will end up with it being streaky like water stains.
or have it glass bead blasted

Hmmm! now where did I put my glass bead blaster? :confused

Of course, must be in the shed next to my stainless pickling paste! :exclamation

Think scotchbrite or Autosol might be a more diy approach. :nana

plenty of autosol. A final wipe down with WD40 and they'll be like new

Exactly LEGS, I found if you use scotchbrite it changes the texture of the finish and you have to do the whole muffler t make it look right :biggrin
