LOL....aye. Kinda looks like the end of the hammer drill is in the other guys arm. :biggrin

Bored?. Yeah, well the way it works is the breaching team core the concrete first, we stick a camera in through a hole and check for casulaties.

Then the breaching team do whatever type of breach is required ( dirty breach if there are no casualties immediately behind the wall, clean breach if we need to get access but a casualty could be harmed by falling debris on the inside ).

The initial breach is very physically draining on each team member, so what we do is take it in turns in a three stage system.

In that pic where I look bored, myself and the other guy in the picture are the team medics, we enter first after the wall is breached and begin shoring up inside in order to make it safe to move further into the collapsed building and access casualties. But before this, we take the second turn on the breaching with the hammer drills, and then when the breach is about 3/4 of the way through, we hand back over to the first breaching team and go and get our trauma pack, stretchers, shoring equipment etc, ready.

Once the initial breaching team are eventually through the wall, we, the medic team, cut the rebar running through the concrete then enter the building.

That "bored" pic, shows us waiting to enter the building as the other two guys are nearly through the wall with the hammer drills. :thumbup

Could I have taken an exhaust thread any more off topic than I have with my blethering???!!!!. :nana
