The red speedo backlight on my 2006 RSV1000R is intermittent. Everything else seems perfect. If I jiggle the dash about I can get it to come on but it usually goes off again when ignition is turned off then back on. It is o.k. during the day without the backlight but at night! Obviously sounds like a dodgy connection but I've only had the bike a week and don't want to mess about without some guidance. Is it easy to get at the connections at the back of the dash to check them out?
