Hi all newbie here, picked up my first ever rsv yesterday and am looking for some advice.
It appears the bike has been owned by a midget and they have wound every thing off of rear shock preload and ride height and dropped the forks right through the yokes which needless to say has screwed the handling some what!
Now I have the manual which gives me stock settings and that's where I intend to return it all...... But it gives no setting for rear ride height adjustment so I was wondering how you guys have done it?
Also I assume the standard spring length is measured with the weight of the bike on and not with the shock removed as no reference is made in owner manual to say different?

All help appreciatted thanks

IIRC the manual does state the stock length for the rear shock eyelet to eyelet.
This is the free length. The manual also states the adjustment range I think. 31,9 till 32,3cm to be exact.

depending on your weight and riding style dude i'd dial in 10-15mm of sag at the rear , 3-4 four rings showin on the fork tops .......

ive got a suspension/set up guide for milles ive written , if you want it 'll email it over to ya ....? doesnt cost out let me know and i'll bosh it down the line...might help??
