Just got some Clear Alternatives led replacement bulbs with built in indicatores which i have fitted to my 2003 Mille, tail and brake lights work ok but not the indicators.
They come with a single yellow wire that comes from the back of each bulb and apparantly goes to live on the indicators from the bike which i have done but when i try them all that happens is the fronts come on and stay on with nothing from the rears.
The earth from the bike does not connect to the bulbs so presume it must get that from the stop/tail part of the bulbs.
Any ideas,please????????

You need to change your flasher relay or put some resistors in line. Have a search as theres loads of info on this topic.

Mine had led indicators and they were not flashing correctly so I swapped the relay and they went back to normal.

Got some inline resistors with them but thought they were just to get them to flash at the correct rate not to flash at all as i have seen them fitted without reistors fitted and still work.
Will try getting them wired up and see what happens,i suppose it's the fact that they dont have the same wiring set up,no seperate earth wire, that i can't get my head round but will try the inlines first.
Thanks for that.

I just wired the two lives up to either side and they worked using the existing earth on the back light.

must have a problem there somewhere then, will try a direct live and earth tomorrow and see what happens.
thanks

Right got the power problem sorted,it was a dodgy earth in the back light bulb holder so now i have the indicators coming on but no flashing.
Basicaly when i switch the indicators on the front and rears both light up but no flashing, they just stay lit and there seems to be a buzzing from the dashboard area is there a flasher unit in there somewhere?
I reconnected some standard indicators and they worked ok so it's a flash rate problem i presume,i have put some resistors in as supplied and as the instructions say but no worky, they just stay on.
Any ideas??
Thanks
Simon
