I'll soon be fitting my high level exhaust but I'm not sure about the rear indicators. I've seen the integrated tail light with led indicators on ebay but they aren't cheap and also I've heard of concerns about the legality and visibility.

So, are there any other options? I 'm thinking about fitting a pair of flush mounted cats-eye type indicators either side of the tail lights but still within the tail unit (over the top of the 2 main screws). Has anyone tried this? The other option would be to fit the indicators either side of the number plate but they will have to be quite low so I reckon it would look poo. Any ideas?

I had this problem when i fitted high levels on my first mille, i had an oblong number plate then so bought some new indicators and fitted them like this

Then i got pulled for my plate and put a square one on that hid the indicators, so i just made some extenders so they dropped down lower, worked a treat, The bike i bought from RS3mille has the combined LED ones and yes in the daylight it is hard to see the indicator when the brake lights on and 1 MOT place wouldnt pass it with them, took it to another MOT station and he passed it without mentioning them

See my avatar for my solution. I just angled the lights upwards. Not a long job and totally free.

Hi guys, thanks for the ideas. After thinking long and hard (about 5 mins actually!), I decided to go for the integrated jobbie from DucatiMondo and have also ordered an LED flasher relay so they actually flash. Hopefully it will turn up this week, so I can fit the system at the weekend. The stainless link pipe that Gibsons made is really nice.
