No.1,Your carbon exhaust hangers wont be strong enough to take the passengers weight.Sooner or later they will break.:yes
No.2 Those footrests are cheap and nasty *****.They would just about be ok on a custom bike or a Hardly Movingson,...they have no place on an Italian thoroughbred.:no

Pretty sure I remember seeing some footrests in all that kit you got with the bike.Could you not take the l/h side to an engineering firm to make one with an exhaust hanger,....or just weld a lug on there?:dunno

Sorry Daz,

I'm with KB on this, your bike is far too nice to put those crappy footpegs on!

Sorry Daz; don`t know of a solution for you, but I`m another that doesn`t like those footpegs mate ! :thumbdown

Falco ones go on I think, well I'm pretty sure they do. I've got some spare ones that have been adapted to take some cans I made. They won't be any good for you but you can try them to see if they do fit.

yes i defo agree they will look ***** and yes the carbon hangers are not strong enough .i would only use them now and then just to keep the girlfreind happy [ she only weighs 7 stone wet lol] thanks nob for the offer if i get stuck would love to try them i think i will look at welding a new lug on the side without one,,i might also have a run down to my local breakers see what they have surely somthing will fit still open to suggestions if anyone has any thanks d

I'd try another way to keep the girlfriend happy.

I've go high level GPR cans & the solution they come up with to accomodate pillions is to fit some 30mm spacers to the origional subframe hanger mounts then fit your origional pillion hanger to them. I binned the foot pegs as I have no intention of carrying pillions.

Daz mate the answer is simple, remove one of the bolts and measure how long it is, buy some bolts about an inch longer(i live near you and have a fairly extensive bolt selection if you're struggling) then mount up both sets of hangers with a few washers between to spacer them away from each other, the carbon hangers will be hidden behind the originals, then when you've taken the girlfriend out you just remove the footrests, longer bolts, washers and put your short bolts back in to hold the carbon hangers.
If you find the can hanger on the original footrest is in the way i can machine that off for you.
Other than that the hole centers on a gen2 are about 70mm, will they fit on a gen1? they have a can hanger either side and you could probably pick up a second hand pair.

nice one top tip will try that thanks for the offer of help baggy will also keep a eye out for some gen 2 rear pegs

Hey dude I'm off work at the moment & I'm rebuilding/ doing loads of mods to my T, my rear footrests are off at the mo, you're more than welcome to try them to see if they will fit if you want.
