Hi I have the usual crap rear brake and when riding fast I'm realising I'm really missing it,is there any mod I can do to actually give me a rear brake all the time like any other bike,I've heard a few things but not sure can anybody shed any light onto it

Yeah hang a 5ltr can of paint on the rear brake lever when you park it up over night :thumbup

Thanks I've seen that one, just wondered if there was a permanent fix like a movement of master cylinder or anything

Get into Griff at Aprilia Performance. Got some rearset s off him which relocate MS. Very reasonable compared to others and work a treat

Rear sets is the only permanent fix.
There's loads to choose from. Any will do the job as long as they re-locate that m/c OFF the motor.

Oh and I swapped the bleed nipple and brake line round so air goes back up up to reservoir rather than getting stuck in caliper

Those AP rearsets look good.
Brakeswitch wiring needs shortening & a 180deg connector to run the wiring back down the m/c tidily.
Also, you could perhaps loose a few inches on the fluid level pipe, plus, secure with lockwire to eliminate the hose clamp.
But that's just me being a really fussy **** :)

Yeah you are being a fussy ****. But so am I so that's ok. Early shot this when I first put them on. The res has been shortened etc but looking for a 180 connector if you could point me in right direction

Hi Bro,

I appreciate if you can upload an image of what you mention above here.

I am currently facing the same issue... I have to bleed my rear brakes almost every week... which is ridiculus!! hahahahah...

I am trying to find a solution which does not require to change to aftermarket rearsets... really appreciate it if you can help out. thanks man.

mine rear brake locked up yesterday while riding at 100kmh.. fuhhh.. the rear master cylinder stuck on the pressed position.

after 30mins parked and let everythings cool down.. it were back to normal condition.. demm..
