Hi guys, anybody tried different pads in the back to try and sort out the crap rear brake? Got plenty of pressure now I've bled the caliper in three different positions(!) but no bite when riding.:dunno
Rear brake is rubbish anyway. What I did is a light brush with wet and dry. Caliper off ,open the gap , cigarette pkt with a piece of w+d and a few runs through. ( I got wd near the pads ). Works ok . I gun the bike and apply rear brake hard to stop every now and then just to keep the glaze off. I have been told the unsintered pads are better but ???????????

to be fair..you don't really want "bite" from a rear brake....you just need enough braking to steady the back end up under heavy braking and for slow speed manuvering, u turns etc...
the oe brembo pads are more than up to the job...check yours aren't contaminated with grease or brake fluid.
