its more Davcruz's area of the cubicle, but the way it works is will post up a raffle, there'll be a forum announcement (it will be very hard to miss). When this happens the raffle link in the navbar is where you'll go. You'll have a week or two to enter. At the end of that time, tickets are counted, and a winner announced.
Tickets are based on post count (yes, its a blatant attempt to keep the forum lively) so if you have 25 posts when the raffle ends, you get 25 tickets in the pot. Subscribers get there tickets multiplied by 2x for silver, 3x for gold, 4x for platinum. So if you had 100 posts, but were a platinum subscriber you'll have 400 tickets (yes, this is a blatant attempt to get you lot to subscribe to the forum).
Each ticket is assigned a number, and then we use a random number generator to select the winning ticket. Winner has a set amount of time to respond and claim their prize, otherwise we select another ticket at random.
Easy enough, even a brit can do it. :laugh We don't have a distributor in the EU yet, so likely it will be something that can be posted easily in case one of you folks across the ponds wins (damn, there's a lot of you!).
